Qualifications

I was awarded the Diploma in Music by the Open University in December 2005. I am currently working towards my Degree in Humanities with the Open University. I am currently at Grade 7 in Theory and Practice and I hope to achieve Grade 8 in 2007

The Piano and I..

I have always loved the piano and I am sure I am not the only one who has been yearning to be able to master it . So I love to work with adults who are learning in later life as much as children. I know what a joy it can be to master new harmonies. I started learning the Piano as an adult in 2002, and I use the same methods that I teach now. In January 2007 I performed a Piano Solo at a concert in Chester. A fabulous event which was organised by the adult learners forum of the ABRSM

Music Preferences

I love all kinds of music but I suppose my focus is on classical and I adore Beethoven!! I also enjoy Shostakovitch, Rachmaninov and Chopin.

Past Work

In past positions I have worked as a Nurse for vulnerable people with learning disabilities.
